Centovacast Policy Updates

As of the time of this writing (August 25, 2019) Centova Technologies Inc. (centova.com) has rolled out a premier support program which would charge SoniXCast in order to support their customers.  Therefore, the decision has been made to no longer offer any support for CentovaCast customers EXCEPT in the following scenarios:

  • In the event services do not start due to an error in provisioning (i.e. duplicate or invalid port)
  • In the event of any hosting issues that occur on SoniXCast hardware (i.e. network or server unavailable via the web)
  • In the event of hardware migration (i.e. moving software to different server)

As of immediately, support requests regarding Centovacast accounts will automatically be responded with the above support policy EXCEPT if they involve the above listed exceptions.

Pricing Changes

Centovacast has announced a pricing increase of 40% for hosting providers that will be passed on to consumers starting October 1st, 2019. Customer monthly pricing will increase as follows:

  • s96k: $4.95 => $12.95
  • s128k: $6.95 => $14.95
  • s192k: $8.95 => $16.95
  • s320k: $10.95 => $20.95
  • i96k: $3.95 => $12.95
  • i128k: $5.95 => $14.95
  • i192k: $6.95 => $16.95
  • i320k: $9.95 => $20.95

The revised pricing will reflect on the bill following the October 1st, 2019 deadline.
